A2025: The Standard System
The A2025 is designed for continuous horizontal processing of printed circuit boards or metals. The process configuration is customer-defined to meet end product requirements.
A2025 wet process systems consist of modular process sections assembled into a continuous conveyorized process line. The System's fixed spray system interacts with the patented ASI Reaction Conveyor to create a versatile and precisely uniform spray pattern.
The conveyor can transport unleadered reinforced thin core laminate with .005 inch (min.) copper borders while maintaining critical spray performance. Solution is applied through high intensity fan spray nozzle arrays balanced to deliver a controlled volume of chemistry for uniform distribution. The progressively offset spray nozzle and conveyor systems are carefully tuned to minimize retention of liquid flow that can impede etching rates and uniformity.
Each A2025 system consists of a main cabinet that includes an Input, Process Chamber, Rinse Chamber 1, and Rinse Chamber 2. Attached to the main cabinet is the removable Dryer (Turbine air knife - TDAK - is standard), and Output. The Alkaline Etch system is an exception to the standard cabinet configuration. It has a modified Rinse Chamber 1 that serves as a Replenisher.
The main cabinet is available in two sizes: Standard (42") and Extended (70").
A2025: The Expanded System
The beauty of the A2025 System is its versatility. A2025 modules can be combined to form larger systems featuring multiple processes such as DES (Develop, Etch, Strip) and SES (Strip Resist, Etch, Strip Tin).
When a stand-alone process needs special post treatment, for instance: rinsing or drying, the A2025 auxiliary modules are easily joined to provide the modular system of choice. You can expand or enhance your production line, as process needs require, by adding one or more of our Auxiliary Modules.
Auxiliary Modules are attached at the end of the standard main A2025 cabinet. To attach an auxiliary cabinet, the Dryer and Output are removed, the auxiliary cabinets are attached and the dryer/output are then reattached to the end of the now expanded system.
