- E4000 Plating Systems are designed to meet customer specified plating processes for continuous length wire material. The wire travels along a series of tooled rollers that support it and provide positioning control as the wire moves through immersion plating cells.
The wire is powered by capstan drives with tension control for both the pay-out and take-up systems over the full speed range. An alarm is used to signal an excessive tension or low tension situation. An electronic clutch is provided to disengage the pay-out and take-up spindles to a neutral, free turning condition as required. Clamps are provided at the system's splicing stations to secure the wire during splicing or splice removal.
